Yulcom Technologies, a Montreal-based IT consultancy, has entered a strategic partnership with Hitachi Systems Security, a Blainville, QC-based cybersecurity services firm.
The partners will collaborate to provide comprehensive cybersecurity and digital transformation solutions to clients in Quebec and globally.
Hitachi Systems Security helps companies develop cyber resiliency, protect their critical assets, and comply with regulations. Yulcom has extensive expertise in helping clients leverage technology to streamline operations and improve customer experience.
"We are excited to partner with YULCOM, a company known for its innovative approach to digital transformation. Together, we will empower organizations to navigate the complex landscape of cybersecurity and digitalization with confidence," said Matt Castonguay, chief revenue officer at Hitachi Systems Security.
Hitachi Systems Security, formerly Above Security, was in 2015 acquired by Hitachi Systems, the IT services subsidiary of Japanese electronics giant Hitachi. Hitachi Systems Security has more than 130 people across security operations centers in Canada, India, Japan, and Switzerland.
The firm provides managed services in security monitoring as well as consulting in risk management, vulnerability management, data privacy, and compliance.
"This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to help businesses harness the power of technology for growth. By integrating cybersecurity into our services, we ensure our clients are secure in their digital transformation journey," said Youmani Jérôme Lankoande, president of Yulcom.
Yulcom was founded in 2015 and specializes in IT project management, web and mobile development, big data and AI, and cloud hosting. The firm has more than 65 employees, according to LinkedIn, and has offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Africa.
Yulcom earlier this year announced an IT consulting contract supporting Visianamos, a Colombian payments company.
