KPMG Canada has acquired boutique accounting firm Cloutier+Longtin.

Founded in 1991 and located in Saint-Eustache on the North Shore of Montreal, Cloutier+Longtin provides professional services in accounting and taxation. The firm also provides consulting in business planning, turnaround, acquisitions and divestitures, IT optimization, and human resources.

The company’s team comprises Chantal Longtin, managing partner; Pierre Cloutier, partner responsible for special engagements; and Caroline Cloutier, senior director.

KPMG’s acquisition of Cloutier+Longtin further expands the Big Four firm’s private enterprise practice in Quebec, which serves entrepreneurs, family businesses and growing companies. The practice now has more than 300 professionals in the province.
