Prime Quadrant hires Jaques Clariond as head of global advisory
Prime Quadrant, a Toronto-based investment research and consulting firm catering to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families, has hired Jaques Clariond as a senior advisor and head of global advisory.
Based in New York, Clariond will drive the company’s strategy vision, lead and mentor consulting teams, and provide guidance and counsel to US family office clients.
Clariond brings 20 years of experience in investment management. Since 2020 he has led Baudpoint, his family office that invests across private equity, real estate, and venture capital.
Before that, Clariond was a senior advisor and investment committee member at Blue Ivy Ventures, a venture capital fund backed by Yale University alumni. He also previously held senior roles at Brookfield Asset Management, Vanguard, UBS, and Credit Suisse, primarily focusing on private equity and real estate investments.
Clariond has an MBA in asset management from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Bowdoin College. He is a certified financial analyst.
Clariond joins Prime Quadrant as Elizabeth (Libby) Anderson prepares to exit the company later this year. Anderson is the founder of Beeman Wealth Advisory, which was acquired by Prime Quadrant last year.
“The members of the Executive Committee are confident that Jaques will be an exceptional leader to the US team as he takes over for Libby Anderson when she exits the business later this year to enjoy her well-deserved retirement," said Mo Lidsky, CEO.
Founded in 1998, Prime Quadrant provides UHNW family offices with services in investment consulting, risk management, portfolio construction, and wealth management. The firm serves more than 200 affluent families across North America and consults on $18+ billion in assets.
Prime Quadrant has 73 employees listed on LinkedIn and has offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and New York.
