Yulcom Technologies wins contract with Colombian payments platform Visionamos

Yulcom, a Montreal-based IT consultancy, has won a professional services contract with Visionamos, a non-profit entity that runs Colombia’s only low-value payments system for cooperative banks.

Yulcom will support Visionamos Technologia SA, the organization’s technical and operational division, with modernizing the Virtualcoop financial core platform.

Visionamos’ payment system includes more than 120 organizations with 500+ branches and 260,000 users who have carried out over 30 million transactions.

Yulcom’s team will perform an analysis and develop a work plan for the modernization project, which will enable Visionamos to upgrade its platform with robust support and documentation, improved scalability and performance, seamless integration with new IT environments, access to a range of tools, and greater accessibility to information.

Yulcom was founded in 2015 and specializes in IT project management, web and mobile development, big data and AI, and cloud hosting.

The firm has more than 70 employees, according to LinkedIn, and has offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Africa.
