BDO merges with Canadian consulting firm Interis
Global accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has bolstered its Canadian operation by merging with management consulting firm Interis. Approximately 50 consultants from Interis’ four offices in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, and Edmonton will join BDO Canada.
Interis Consulting is a Canadian management consultancy that specializes in large transformations, change management, risk, and compliance services. The boutique firm, which employs 50 consultants across four Canadian offices, primarily serves client in two areas: the public sector and financial services.
BDO Canada was founded in the 1920s, and has since grown to become Canada’s fifth-largest accounting and consulting firm. BDO Canada has more than 3,000 partners and professionals spread across 106 offices.
"We are excited to join BDO and gain the value of its support to our practice,” remarked Interis Managing Partner Denis Godcharles. “By combining our strengths, we will continue to achieve national growth and reach a larger platform to benefit new and existing clients."
