Intelliware hires former Capco leader Chris Ford as president
Intelliware, a Toronto-based technology consultancy, has hired Chris Ford, the former CEO of Capco Canada, as president.
Ford takes on the role from Greg Betty, who has served as president and CEO since founding Intelliware in 1990. Betty will continue to serve as CEO.
Ford brings 25 years of experience specializing in strategy and implementation of technology transformation services. He has deep expertise leading complex projects in architecture, business delivery, development, strategy, and digital transformation programs.
Ford spent the last year as an independent consultant to global providers of technology solutions for financial institutions and businesses. Before that, he spent 15 years as partner and head of Canadian operations at Capco, a global management and IT consultancy focusing on financial services clients (now owned by Wipro).
He also previously spent over 7 years as an independent consultant to CIBC, where he worked on IT projects including re-platforming the online banking capability and consolidating manual workflows.
Earlier in his career, Ford spent three years as a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting.
He has a bachelor’s degree in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo.
“Chris has a deep understanding of technology and business, and knows how to implement and deliver successful technological solutions,” Betty said. “He has an impressive track record, and has proven himself as an outstanding leader. I am thrilled to pass the baton to Chris, who I know will continue to grow Intelliware’s legacy.”
