Big Bang gets B Corp certification, work-life balance certification

Big Bang ERP, a Montreal-based digital transformation consultancy, has received a B Corp certification and a Concilivi certification.

Administered by B Lab, the B Corp certification denotes a company has met high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. Companies undergo a stringent review of their overall social and environmental impact to receive the certification.

More than 5,000 companies across 80+ countries are certified B Corps.

The firm, which has more than 150 employees listed on LinkedIn, also recently received Quebec’s Concilivi certification, which recognizes organizations that facilitate a proper work-life balance. Big Bang previously adopted a work-life balance charter that promotes practices including remote work, assistance with childcare, and a bank of eight paid hours for community involvement.

The consultancy has also boosted its wellbeing program and benefits in the recent years. Big Bang’s wellness committee – SoWell – organizes employee-requested activities like sports or games nights, yoga classes, and healthy lunches.

The firm also provides an app for stress management and has increased its employee wellness accounts to $500 per year for anything related to fitness and wellbeing.
