Vaco opens Quebec City location, names Maxime Piché managing director

Vaco, a global staffing and consulting firm, has opened its fourth Canadian location with a new office in Quebec City. The office will be led by recently promoted managing director Maxime Piché.

The new Quebec City team – located at 585 Boulevard Charest Est – will focus on talent solutions for technology, finance, and accounting roles.

Office leader Piché brings more than a decade of sales and executive recruiting experience the role. He most recently served as an IT account manager within Vaco’s Montreal office. He joined the company as an IT recruitment manager in 2019 when the Nashville-based firm launched its first office in the province.

Before that, Piché spent over five years as a sales learning consultant at Rogers, delivering coaching, mentoring, and training to different levels of leadership and sales reps within the company. Before that he was a district leader and sales manager at Glentel Wireless Solutions.

The new office builds on Vaco’s continued expansion in Canada, which began in 2017 when the firm entered the country with the acquisition of Toronto recruitment firm Lannick. That was followed by a Montreal expansion in 2019, the acquisition of Toronto recruiter Prodigy Bank, and the opening of a Vancouver location in 2020.

Vaco provides core services in executive search, placement, and strategic staffing for roles in accounting and finance, technology, and operations. The firm also provides management consulting via subsidiary MorganFranklin consulting; healthcare IT solutions through Pivot Point Consulting; and retained executive search through Focus Search Partners.

Vaco has more than 4,000 employees across offices in the US, Canada, and India, according to LinkedIn. The firm works with more than 12,000 clients globally.
