Frank Recruitment Group opens Montreal office
Frank Recruitment Group, a UK-based global IT staffing consultancy, will open its second Canadian location in Montreal in August.
The firm, which specializes in recruiting high-demand cloud technology talent, expanded into Canada last year with a Toronto office.
Frank Recruitment is planning to hire up to 15 people within the first month of the Montreal office’s launch, and at least 50 new hires over the next year.
The firm expanded to Montreal to fill IT talent demand in the city, a burgeoning tech hub where the tech industry accounts for at least 5% of GDP.“The demand for cloud tech has skyrocketed over the past two years, so we knew that our services would continue to be needed, particularly given it has grown so much that the industry is now faced with an even wider digital skills gap than it was already challenged with,” said VP Owen Barette, who will serve as senior office leader for the Montreal office.
The location will initially house the firm’s Anderson Frank and Jefferson Frank brands, which source NetSuite and AWS talent, respectively.
Frank Recruitment draws on a database of 900,000 niche technology specialists with experience in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and government.
Rowan O’Grady, president of Americas, said, “The Canadian tech market is absolutely booming which means there’s plenty of opportunities for us to connect talented IT professionals with businesses that need their help to fulfil both their short- and longer-term goals. We’re deeply passionate about establishing these connections and helping both companies and professionals grow and thrive, so we hope Montreal is as excited as we are about our arrival.”
The new location will bring the consultancy’s global office count to 23 across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Frank Recruitment has over 3,000 employees and is a part of IT staffing firm Tenth Revolution Group, a portfolio company of TPG Capital.
