RSM Canada adds George Konstantopoulos as consulting partner
RSM Canada has hired George Konstantopoulos as a Toronto-based consulting partner in the firm’s M&A integration practice.
Konstantopoulos brings more than 18 years of experience with a focus on transaction advisory and investment banking. He has deep expertise advising on M&A, divestitures, integrations, carveouts, valuation, due diligence, corporate finance, financial and operational restructuring, and capital raising.
Konstantopoulos has led complex acquisition programs primarily across energy and resources, industrials, financial services, and TMT.
He joins RSM from Welch Capital, a mid-market investment bank and transaction advisory firm, where he has been since its founding in 2003. Konstantopoulos most recently served as Welch’s COO and managing partner.
Before joining Welch, he spent three years as a program manager within the customer, bank, and merchant services practice of American Express.
Konstantopoulos has an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a bachelor’s degree from York University, as well as chartered professional accountant (CPA) and certified management accountant (CMA) designations.
“George’s ability to quickly and succinctly articulate and implement creative investment strategies make him a valuable addition to our M&A integration team,” said Rhys Morgan, national consulting leader at RSM Canada. “While his experience reaches across many different industries and sectors, his focus on innovative solutions and value creation will further enhance our ability to provide a first-choice advisor experience to our clients in Canada’s middle market.”
RSM Canada provides audit, tax, and consulting services to mid-market clients across the country. The firm has more than 600 people across offices in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Vancouver.
