Grant Thornton adds two accounting firms in Ontario
Grant Thornton Canada has acquired Ajax, ON-based Hurren Sinclair MacIntyre and Alliston, ON-based KD Wray Professional Corp. Together, the deals will add 28 people to Grant Thornton.
Located in the heart of Ajax, Hurren Sinclair MacIntyre has been providing accounting and advisory services to clients in Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area for more than 25 years. The firm’s services include accounting and assurance, taxation services, succession planning, business planning and advisory, and estate and trust planning.
Hurren Sinclair MacIntyre’s 17 team members, including two partners, will join Grant Thornton. They will remain at their present office location at 144 Old Kingston Rd.

The firm’s services span accounting and assurance, tax planning and preparation, trusts and estates, and business consulting.
KD Wray’s 11 team members, including one partner, will join Grant Thornton. They will remain at their office at 22 Paris St.

Grant Thornton Canada earlier this year acquired seven practices across the country, adding a combined 92 people.
The Toronto-headquartered accounting and consulting firm has, together with Quebec affiliate Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, approximately 4,700 employees in Canada.
