Deloitte buys SAP specialist Ouest Business Solutions
Deloitte Canada has acquired Ouest Business Solutions, a Vancouver-based provider of SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software consulting.
Ouest has more than 15 years of experience delivering services in implementation, sustainment, and training for SAP solutions to clients in mining, construction and engineering, utilities, retail, and the public sector.
The firm has expertise in a range of SAP modules, including financial accounting and controlling, materials management, human resources, payroll, plant maintenance, project systems, business warehouse, and security.
The firm’s team of 28 employees has supported clients such as Loblaws, Goldcorp, and the City of Vancouver.
Deloitte’s acquisition of Ouest will strengthen its SAP consulting capability in Western Canada and nationally. Ouest’s team will join Deloitte’s consulting practice in Vancouver and Toronto, with CEO Tanya Peachey joining as a partner and COO Jeffrey Wong joining as a director.

Deloitte’s SAP practice has won numerous SAP Pinnacle Awards – the highest partner award bestowed by the German software giant. The consultancy has won the SAP Pinnacle Award as SAP S/4HANA Partner of the Year (Large Enterprise) from 2016-2018 and 2020-2021, and also earned the 2021 SAP Pinnacle Award for Delivery Excellence Partner of the Year.

Deloitte has been snapping up digital consulting firms since it divested a healthy portion of its regional offices, which focused on delivering accounting and tax services to small businesses. The growth engine of every consulting firm is now digital transformation, where demand continues to accelerate.
Deloitte’s acquisitions in 2021 have been decidedly digital. They include digital consultancy TWG, data firm Groundswell Group, SAP specialist Clockwork Inc., and AI consultancy Dataperformers.
