Epic Agile hires Ron Laudadio, expands into North America
Epic Agile, a Sydney, Australia-based business agility consulting firm, has expanded into North America with the hiring of Ron Laudadio, a Toronto-based agile transformation leader.
Laudadio joins the firm as director for the Americas, alongside a freshly recruited team of eight Canada- and US-based professionals.
Laudadio previously spent 14 years at IBM, holding various senior roles, including chief technology officer for Canada and agile leader for global business. He also previously served as chief architect of IBM’s Toronto Centre of Innovation.
After departing IBM in 2017, he spent two years at IT consulting firm CGI, where he was VP of agile, DevOps & digital transformation. Since leaving CGI, Laudadio has built and run his own consultancy, which specializes in agile and leadership coaching. His clients include a major Canadian bank and a North American insurance firm.“We are delighted that Ron is joining our international leadership team as we look to accelerate the momentum we've created across Asia into the Northern Hemisphere," Rob Gaunt, co-founder of Epic Agile, said.
Founded in 2016, Epic has grown rapidly amid growing demand for agile transformation – especially since the pandemic has further pressured organizations to find nimble and modern ways of working. The firm now has more than 60 coaches across four offices in Australia and Singapore, and it says demand for its services has never been greater.
Epic’s coaches advise clients such as Woolworths. Telstra, and AfterPay on agile frameworks and metrics, organizational design, lean portfolio management, leadership and cultural behaviours, and continuous improvement culture, among other areas.
“The future of business agility transformation is global, the most effective models impacting the way companies think and organize are in high demand," Laudadio said. "This is why joining EPiC Agile was a natural fit. Their strategic implementation of business agility is unique and will be sought after by business leaders in this region.”
