Golnaz Yekrangian joins Korn Ferry as head of infrastructure and energy investing
Golnaz Yekrangian, a seasoned executive search consultant, has joined Korn Ferry as a senior client partner and head of infrastructure and energy investing for North America. She will be based in the human capital consultancy’s Toronto office.
Yekrangian brings extensive experience advising private investment firms and their portfolio companies on talent and organizational opportunities.
She spent the last one-and-a-half years at executive search firm Ferguson Partners Canada as a senior managing director and leader of the North American infrastructure investment practice. Yekrangian advised investor clients on senior investment, operating, and distribution professional hires, as well as on board and executive team hires within portfolio companies.
Prior to that, she spent a decade at HR and executive search consultancy Heidrick & Struggles, where she was latterly a principal in the financial services practice.Prior to entering the executive search industry, Yekrangian spent three years as an associate in the investment banking division of Scotiabank, where she worked on corporate transactions including private equity, M&A, and financings within the financial institutions space. She began her career as a software designer at Nortel Networks.
Yekrangian holds an MBA from Western University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical-telecommunications engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in Iran.
