HKA expands in Canada with nine hires in Montreal and Calgary
HKA, a risk and disputes consultancy specializing in the construction sector, has announced nine new hires in its Montreal and Calgary offices.
The new hires will bring the firm’s consulting executive headcount in Canada to 37 people, including nine testifying experts. The London-headquartered firm has operated in Canada for more than 20 years, and has offices in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.
HKA’s hiring spree in Canada coincides with the launch of a new construction advisory services practice that provides support in project development, commercial advisory, infrastructure delivery, PMO and risk advisory, and strategy and optimization.
The firm's Canadian expansion will aim to capitalize on a half a trillion dollars in budgeted infrastructure spending from Canada’s federal and provincial governments.
“As our growth demonstrates, HKA has made the Canadian construction claims market a top priority,” said Rick Moffat, HKA partner. “We welcome our new team members and look forward to their contribution.”
Frank Giunta, HKA partner and head of Americas, added, “The addition of these professionals expands our ability to support clients throughout Canada. Their skill sets complement our existing team and add depth to our Montreal and Calgary operations.”
