Appnovation welcomes Riccardo Zane as business solutions lead
Appnovation, a Vancouver-headquartered digital consulting firm, has hired Riccardo Zane, an experienced marketing and technology executive, as business solutions lead for the Americas. He will be based in Seattle.
Zane brings more than two decades of experience growing digital agencies to Appnovation, where he will be responsible for leading the business solutions selling team. He will be tasked with driving new business development and growing client relationships as the consultancy continues to expand.
Zane joins Appnovation from POP, a Seattle-based digital marketing agency where he spent the last year as chief client officer. Before that, he spent six years at Accenture Interactive, where he served as global business director.
Earlier in his career, Zane was a senior partner at OgilvyOne and an EVP and managing director at Leo Burnett.
Zane holds an MBA from York University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto.

Appnovation received $15 million in equity financing in 2019, with a follow-up infusion of $11.6 million in 2020. The firm has used that capital to continue expanding its footprint as demand for digital consulting services continues to grow. Appnovation earlier this year launched new offices in Singapore and Sao Paulo.
The firm offers services in strategy, creative & experience design, marketing & communications, technology & platform development, managed services & support, and corporate agility & governance. Appnovation’s clients include Google, Rogers, Samsung, and TCL.
Founded in 2007, Appnovation has approximately 462 people across offices in Canada, the US, Brazil, the UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
