MNP buys Microsoft Dynamics specialist Digital Embrace
Accounting and consulting firm MNP has acquired Digital Embrace, a Toronto-area consulting firm specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for public sector clients.
Founded in 1999 and based in Richmond Hill, Digital Embrace helps government clients leverage the popular Microsoft ERP and CRM platform to build solutions in case management, grants & funding management, registry management, license management, and customer service.
The firm’s clients include the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, and Alberta Health.
Digital Embrace has 19 employees, according to LinkedIn.
MNP’s acquisition of Digital Embrace will strengthen its Microsoft Dynamics capabilities within its digital practice.“If there's one thing we've learned during the pandemic, it's how companies are now more than ever looking for ways to operate more efficiently, engage effectively with customers, and to continue to grow,” said Sean Devin, national leader of MNP's digital practice. “This merger reflects our commitment to always look for new ways, including the use of new technologies, to help our clients reach their full potential."
MNP’s digital enterprise practice includes strategy and implementation offerings for ERP, financial planning and analysis, human capital management, and digital workplace solutions.
The Calgary-headquartered firm says its digital practice is one of the fastest-growing parts of its business.
MNP’s other digital acquisitions in the last two years include managed IT solutions company Next Digital, applied data company T4G, and ERP consulting firm Mantralogix.
The firm also this year bolstered its core strength in regional accounting services for small- and medium-sized businesses, buying more than 20 regional offices from Deloitte Canada – with the majority located in Quebec.
