RSM Canada names Fabricio Naranjo as actuarial services leader
RSM Canada has appointed Fabricio Naranjo as national actuarial services leader. He is based in the firm’s Toronto headquarters.
Naranjo has more than two decades of actuarial consulting experience, with expertise advising clients on leveraging modern tools, technologies, data science. He has particular expertise helping medium and large companies optimize insurance operations, risk management strategies, and risk profiles.
Naranjo will lead RSM’s actuarial services practice, which is located within the financial advisory business. The practice has a team of actuarial professionals that provide consulting services to the financial services industry, non-profits, governments, and corporations. With a focus on risk management, the team helps clients better predict future financial outcomes through data analysis, insurance optimization, risk analytics, and advanced financial modeling.
Naranjo has been a partner in the actuarial services practice since RSM Canada’s formation in 2017. He has also been a member of the firm’s insurance industry team.
Before RSM, he was VP of actuarial services at predecessor firm Collins Barrow Toronto, where he spent four years. He was also leader of the firm’s employee benefits division, providing extended health group insurance services to clients.
Prior to that, Naranjo spent 11 years as an actuarial consultant at Dion, Durrell + Associates, a boutique Toronto actuarial consulting firm. Earlier in his career, he was an actuarial consultant at Towers Watson and KPMG.
Naranjo holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Université du Québec à Montréal.

RSM Canada has approximately 600 professionals nationwide providing services in audit, tax, and consulting. The firm in June announced plans to open a Vancouver office and add 150 employees in the region over the next three years.
