Rimkus Consulting Group buys Toronto-based IRC Building Sciences Group

Rimkus Consulting Group, a Houston-based forensic consulting and engineering firm, has acquired IRC Building Sciences Group and Quebec-based Le Groupe IRC.

Founded in 1983, IRC is an engineering and consulting firm that specializes in the assessment, design, remediation, and quality observation of roofing, building envelope, structural, and pavement systems. The company’s engineers, technicians, and consultants work with a wide range of clients in the commercial, public, and non-profit sectors.

The company today has more than 500 national clients and manages approximately 110,000,000 square feet of roof inventory across the country. IRC has 15 Canadian offices, coast-to-coast, staffed by over 150 employees.
