HR consultancy Buck promotes Nathalie Duplessis to principal
Buck, a New York-based global human resources consulting firm, has promoted Nathalie Duplessis to principal. She will remain based in the firm’s Montreal office.
Buck announced that nine of its team members across its operations in the US, UK, and Canada have been promoted to principal. The company said the promotions recognized individual accomplishments and rewarded employees who were making a significant contribution to clients and the business.
The promotions in the US were Amy Heinze (career), Christian Schrader (international consulting), Debra Andrianopoulos (engagement), Eileen Cohen (engagement), and Matthew Davis (wealth); in the UK: Joanne Jones (retirement consulting), John Yates (defined contribution consulting), and Terry Argent (retirement consulting); and in Canada: Nathalie Duplessis (business development).
Duplessis has over 25 years of experience in the HR and benefits consulting sector, and has spent the bulk of her career with Buck. Duplessis has deep expertise in defined benefits, project management, implementation, and consulting. She is currently a vice president in service delivery at Buck.
Duplessis started her consulting career at HR consultancy Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson), where she spent five years and was a senior implementation consultant. She joined Buck (then Buck Consultants) in 1999, where she spent 10 years as a senior consultant. She left Buck in 2009 for rival firm Mercer, where she was a senior project manager, and then rejoined Buck two years later. Before becoming a VP, Duplessis was a director and defined benefit product leader and account manager.
Duplessis holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial mathematics from Université de Montréal and is a certified project management professional.
"At Buck, our greatest asset is our dedicated colleagues," said Jack Freker, CEO of Buck.
