Sourced Group named AWS Public Sector Partner
Toronto-based IT consultancy Sourced Group has been named an Amazon Web Services Authorized Public Sector Partner.
AWS is one of the leading cloud computing platforms, dominating market share alongside Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The Amazon subsidiary delivers metered, pay-as-you-go cloud services to businesses and the public sector, allowing them to utilize cost-effective, in-the-cloud computing that emulates physical computers and delivers the client’s choice of operating systems and pre-loaded applications. AWS booked revenues of $25.6 billion in 2018, and looks set to continue its dominant position in the cloud marketplace.
In Canada, AWS has a robust offering for government, education, and nonprofit clients, delivering cloud solutions that promise security, compliance, scalability, and cost-effective extension of on-premises IT infrastructure into the cloud.
Sourced Group has now obtained partner status for AWS Public Sector, recognizing its expertise and readiness in supporting public sector organizations with AWS adoption. The IT consultancy, which specializes in cloud transformation, has been deploying AWS solutions since 2010.
The recognition follows three other AWS designations the company has obtained in the last year, including APN (AWS Partner Network) Premier Consulting Partner, APN DevOps Competency, and APN Migration Competency.
